By downloading, installing, or using Voiceleap ("the App," "the Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Voiceleap. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Voiceleap offers the following subscription tiers:
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. We will provide at least 30 days' notice for price increases.
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, you may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase if you have not substantially used the Service. Refund requests should be sent to support@voiceleap.app.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the app settings or by contacting support. Upon cancellation:

Voice Cloning Notice: Voice cloning features must only be used with voices you have the right to clone (your own voice or voices you have explicit permission to use). Using voice cloning to impersonate others without consent is prohibited and may violate laws in your jurisdiction.
You retain ownership of any content you process through the Service (audio, transcripts, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service.
The Service, including its design, features, code, and documentation, is owned by Voiceleap and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand features.
If you provide feedback or suggestions about the Service, you grant us an unrestricted, perpetual license to use such feedback without compensation to you.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any translations, transcriptions, or voice synthesis. Machine translation and speech recognition may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You should not rely solely on the Service for any communications where accuracy is important.
Without limiting the foregoing, the Service should never be used as the sole means of communication in:
The Service relies on third-party technologies including Apple's macOS Speech Recognition, Translation framework, and AVSpeechSynthesizer, as well as ElevenLabs for voice cloning. We have no control over these third-party services and make no warranties regarding their performance, accuracy, availability, or reliability.
Changes to macOS, Apple's APIs, or third-party services may affect the Service's functionality at any time without notice. We are not responsible for any degradation, changes, or discontinuation of third-party services.
WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE PRESERVATION OR BACKUP OF ANY DATA, INCLUDING TRANSCRIPTS, VOICE CLONES, SETTINGS, OR ANY OTHER USER DATA. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR BACKING UP YOUR DATA. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, CORRUPTION, OR DESTRUCTION OF DATA.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily or permanently unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VOICELEAP AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at legal@voiceleap.app and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
